Michelle Douglas

Michelle Douglas will be serving as a Teacher’s assistant in Level 1. She moved from Texas in July of 2024 with her husband and two daughters. She received her Bachelor’s in 2012 and Master’s in Elementary Education in 2014 from Texas Tech University. She spent 10 years teaching K-2nd in traditional schools back in Texas. When her husband’s job relocated them to North Carolina she made the prayerful decision to step out of the public school classroom to spend more time at home with her girls. This year her oldest daughter will be in Kindergarten at CLA, so she is thrilled to be serving this community alongside you. Her family attends Richland Creek Community Church in Wake Forest. In her free time she enjoys being outside with her daughters, reading, and doing puzzles.
