Maria Baughman

After spending 2 years as an educator in the Public School System and 15 years as a consultant for FBI and ACI Supports as a Development Therapy Consultant, the Lord brought Maria Baughman to CLA in 2021-2022 as both a teacher and a parent. In the past she has taught 12^th and 8^th level. She has served as Logic Humanities Chair and LRS Learning Specialist. This year Maria will begin an exciting new adventure as a full-time teacher in the Rhetoric school as well as returning to her role to co-lead the 2026-2027 Cheer Team with Jennifer Phillips! Maria was born and raised in PA and now lives with her husband, 2 sons, and her father-in-law in Franklinton, NC. Maria spends her free time serving at Faith Baptist Church as well as her neighborhood as a Bible teacher. You can find Maria on family walks, playing board games/cards, watching movies, or snuggled up with her dog reading a good book. Maria is excited to start another memorable year at CLA.
