Jeff Brown

Jeff Brown brings more than 25 years of Christian ministry, teaching, and leadership experience to CLA. He has served as a pastor and has spent more than 20 years with Corporate Chaplains of America, where his work has ranged from chaplaincy to overseeing learning. Jeff is passionate about helping others grow and enjoys bringing together his love for teaching, biblical truth, and service to others.

A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Jeff served as a UH-60 Black Hawk pilot with the 101st Airborne Division and deployed during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. He is also a former junior-high mathematics teacher and holds a Master of Biblical Arts and Theological Studies from Luther Rice Seminary.

Jeff and his wife have been married for 37 years and live in Raleigh. They have one daughter, Sarah, who is married to Matt Gonzales. Both Sarah and Matt teach at CLA. Jeff and his wife are also blessed with five grandchildren: Micah, Bella, Jethro, Ben, and Violet. In his free time, Jeff enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, and tackling do-it-yourself projects around the house.
