Cari Owens

Cari Owens lives in Zebulon with her husband and their three children, who attend CLA. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in piano from the College at Southeastern. Cari taught private piano lessons for many years, helping students develop both skill and a love for music. She has also taught music in the classroom for students in grades K4–8, and served as a second-grade classroom teacher. Cari especially enjoys working with elementary students, where she loves seeing the excitement of learning, the joy of trying new things, and discovering what is meaningful to each child. Outside the classroom, Cari enjoys playing and listening to music, attending concerts, spending time with family and friends, and exploring new places.
