Stephanie McHenry was born in Charlotte, NC but grew up in Fort Mill, SC.  She graduated from Charleston Southern University and, after marrying her husband Stephen, went right on to complete her master’s in math education from Old Dominion University.  She had the joy of teaching at Old Dominion University, Kingdom Education for Young Scholars, and also Algebra at CLA.  She has 3 children who all began and are continuing their education at CLA.   After being a regular sub at CLA for a few years, she is excited to get back in the classroom as a third level teacher.  Her family attends and serves at Faith Baptist where she joyfully serves with the kids’ worship team.  She loves the third grade curriculum and is passionate about teaching all subjects from a biblical worldview while pointing students’ hearts to Jesus as they develop as learners and followers of Christ.
