Rebecca has been a faculty member at Commission Leadership Academy since 2016. She has served as the second grade teacher and also as the virtual teacher for levels K-4. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Meredith College. She obtained her teaching license from East Carolina University after a career in the insurance industry. Before joining CLA, she served as a first grade teacher for five years. Currently residing in Youngsville with her husband, Kevin, Rebecca delights in the fact that her own children are a part of the CLA community. Rebecca is dedicated to creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment for all of her students. She is so thankful for the relationships that are formed with the students and the co-teachers over the course of the year. One of Rebecca’s many joys in teaching second grade is getting to revisit one of her childhood favorite books, The Boxcar Children, with her students. She is a member of WellSpring Church in Wake Forest.
