2019-20 Tuition & Fees

 

CLA University Model® Program

 

Yearly Tuition         

  • $3850  Elementary School (K-6th)    

  • $5075  Secondary School (7th-8th)

  • $5175  High School (9th-10th)

The CLA University Model® Program is 2 days per week on campus and 3 days at home with parent for the Grammar students (K-6th grade).  Logic and Rhetoric students (7th-10th grade), are on campus 3 days per week and 2 days at home with their parent.   The annual tuition for 7th-10th grade students includes CORE ACADEMIC CLASSES ONLY. Elective classes will be offered for an additional cost and will take place on the third campus day (Fridays) in the afternoons for 7th-10th grades. More details about the schedule and respective fees will be posted when available.

 

Fees

  • Application Fee: $90 Per application

  • ​Enrollment Deposit: $350 per student ($800/family max.)  Due within 10 days of admission. Enrollment Deposit is separate from tuition and is non-refundable

  • Testing Fee: All students beginning in Level 1 at Commission will take a standardized test in the Spring. There will be a testing fee assessed at that time.

  • Books:  CLA does not charge a book fee. We provide families with a list of required curriculum resources and allow you to purchase them new or used, or even borrow them from friends, to minimize this expense. (See below for more details regarding curriculum.)

 

Sibling Discount

  • 1st Child (and oldest) — Full Price

  • 2nd Child (second oldest) — Full Price

  • 3+ Children — 5% tuition discount

Additional Scholarship Opportunities
Scholarships are available for incoming and qualifying students for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Step 2: Upon acceptance to CLA, each applicant will submit an online FACTS application for a financial aid assessment. 


Step 3: CLA Admissions committee will review FACTS application and award qualifying applicants a scholarship.

Curriculum Resources

 

In lieu of charging a book fee, parents will be provided with a list of books and resources that will be utilized for each subject.  It is the responsibility of the parents to purchase the required texts and resources BEFORE the school year begins.  If you are a homeschooling family, you may already own some of the required resources or know someone else who does.  We also provide families with suggestions of where to possibly find many of the resources at discounted prices.  We do our best to keep the cost of curriculum to a minimum by choosing resources that can be used with multiple children and can be used for multiple years.  Our curriculum committee is currently in the process of finalizing specific curriculum choices for the 2019-2020 school year.  You will receive the appropriate book lists via email once you have completed the enrollment process.
