Tara Thomas

Tara is home grown in Durham, NC and has been living in Wake County since graduating from Meredith College. She taught Kindergarten for Durham Public schools for 6 years before having her first child. She and her husband Matthew have three precious children. Elias, Garrison, and Hatton all attend CLA. She has had the privilege of working at CLA since 2015 in childcare/preschool as lead teacher, Kindergarten teacher, level 3, and now as Interim Dean of the Grammar school. She enjoys teaching and instructing hearts through the lens of the gospel. Her family attends and serves at Open Door church. She loves that she can merge what her children are learning at church with what they are learning at school.
