Tammy Walter

Tammy is a native Texan with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Abilene Christian University. Throughout her career she has worked as a network administrator, corporate trainer, and curriculum developer as well as owned her own educational technology consulting business. Since relocating to North Carolina, she has served as the Technology Director for a private Christian school where she also taught computer, personal finance, and Bible. Tammy homeschooled her children for several years and later served as the Retreat Ministry Manager for a Christian camp and retreat center. She and her husband, Michael, have been married for 33 years and have two sons, Nathan and Noah, and a daughter-n-love, Heather. They have been members of Faith Baptist Church for 20 years where she has been active in the women’s, counseling, and Celebrate Recovery ministries. Tammy’s passion is seeing others grow in their walk with the Lord and finding hope and healing in Him and His Word. In her role at CLA, she is excited to share how Christ and our identity in Him shapes our lives practically as well as spiritually and relationally. She enjoys reading, singing, the mountains, and kayaking.
