Rebecca Armstrong

Rebecca has been teaching at Commission Leadership Academy since 2016. She has been the second grade teacher and also served as the virtual teacher for levels K-4 in the 2020 - 2021 school year. Rebecca graduated from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She obtained her teaching license from East Carolina University after a few years in the insurance industry. Rebecca taught first grade for five years prior to coming to CLA. Rebecca and her husband, Kevin live in Youngsville with their two children who attend CLA. She enjoys the relationships that are formed with the students and the co-teachers over the course of the year. Her favorite part of teaching second grade is getting to revisit one of her childhood favorite books, The Boxcar Children.
