Cindy Morris is enjoying her second year of working at CLA as a teaching assistant in the grammar school. She grew up in the timber and fruit farming communities in Yakima, Washington. While living in Washington she completed a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and went on to work with victims of abuse (children, teens and women). At the same time, she was a Navy wife, learning to navigate rough waters of deployment and the Persian Gulf War, but also had wonderful opportunities to travel. She and her family settled in North Carolina in 1997. After eleven years of homeschooling her two children, Philip and Chloe, she enrolled her youngest in CLA and transitioned to being a co-teacher in 2016. In her free time you can find her reading, walking, working in her yard, baking and relishing time spent with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite activity is helping others to learn more about our Lord Jesus Christ.
