A La Carte Courses

Commission Leadership Academy offers an "a la carte" course program for homeschool students that will meet Mondays and Wednesdays with an optional/complementary day on Fridays. Students who opt out of the Friday course offering are responsible for learning the material covered in class at home.  Courses offered 3 days a week are 50 minutes each, and courses offered one day a week are 90 minutes.  The a la carte courses are taught by professional Christian educators who will also be responsible for assigning and grading weekly home assignments.  Students will receive number grades according to the 10 pt. high school grading scale and parents will also have online access.

We invite qualified homeschool students seeking high school credit to enroll in up to 4 courses per year at CLA.  CLA seeks to partner with families who share in our mission and values, agree with our statement of faith, and who recognize the importance of academic excellence and accountability. Our a la carte courses are college-preparatory in nature; therefore, our program is most appropriate for students who are college-bound, can work independently, and are performing at or above grade level. The tuition costs are based on a full academic year.  For more information, please contact Natascha Trapp at or call 919-225-5766.

  • $800 for Monday/Wednesday classes (optional 3rd day on Fridays)

  • $450 for Monday or Wednesday only class

  • $90 non-refundable annual application fee

* Costs for books/curriculum, resources, and/or lab fees are not included in tuition.
